This is our Sunny Chevron Quilt. I really loved making this and it was super simple. Our pattern is written for a small Throw size as shown in our picture or a Queen size if you would like a larger version. The design works with a number of fabric choices, but we opted for a white background and a mixture of several Riley Blake Collections. We use this pattern for some of our Beginning Quilting classes and some of our students have made this with a Black Background, the results were also wonderful. This pattern is VERY Beginner friendly, so don’t be nervous, just get stitching!

Here is a close up of the backing, and the bias binding. We just love using stripes on the bias!
This is Sleepytime! I think it is my very favorite baby quilt, EVER! And that is saying a lot! This quilt combines simple patchwork with adorable little sleepy animals that are appliqued into their beds. The border is a beautiful scallop that is also the binding as it comes around from the back. We used a beautiful Irish Linen that is included in our kits. Jeanette also hand quilted this little lovely to make it extra special. You can purchase just the pattern or a kit through the links below. So, what do you think?

I am obsessed with this fabric, in fact the entire collection of Enchant by Cinderberry Stitches. It has mushrooms, hedgehogs and a bunny, need I say more? If I had a little girl, most of her life would be themed around this collection of fabrics!
P.S. I hope you all have a wonderful Valentines Day! My hot date will probably consist of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and a pukee toddler, I know you are very jealous. But, I am pretty sure I will have access to chocolate, so everything will be just fine.
P.P.S. Come in the shop and make a purchase today and you will receive one of these lovely Valentines! They will also be in all internet orders while supplies last.
The Piper’s Girls are so excited that our quilt is featured in the upcoming edition of Quilts and More magazine! This is a super simple triangle quilt that anyone can make, even beginners! The quilt shown above was designed and pieced by me and the other Piper’s Girl, Jeanette, did all of the Machine Quilting. We used a mixture of fabrics from 3 of our favorite fabric companies, Riley Blake Fabrics, Adornit & Alexander Henry. It is very rare that we ever use the same fabric collection in a quilt, we love mixing the various lines together. I have not received my copy of the magazine yet (it will be released February 4th), but you can see a sneek peek of all of the projects included on the All People Quilt website. I was blown away by the company we were in! Our quilt is in a magazine with lots of my favorite designers! So exciting!! You won’t want to miss this issue.
We are selling kits for this quilt with the same fabrics, all fabrics for the quilt top are included as well as pre-cut bias binding, you will just need to make sure to purchase the magazine for the pattern!!!

I had an absolute blast making this quilt for my son Ronan! Picking and collecting fabrics that I knew he would love was so much fun. He loves to pick out the animals, veggies, cars and especially the potty I added to the quilt. I love that this quilt is educational, but I also am thrilled with the simple modern aesthetic, and it matches his room perfectly. I used Riley Blake’s “Pewter” solid as my background, but that can be easily changed to white, pink, navy, green, or whatever color will match your little one’s room, or let them pick their favorite color. You will be able to finish this quilt in no time at all and it is simple enough for any beginner to make it. Plus we are giving you the pattern for free!!
