I just love this latest finish, it makes me very happy! This is our Gumball Quilt, what do you think? It is 38″ X 45″, just perfect for a little one, either girl or boy (or keep it for yourself!). It is made with oversized Half Hexies, that are super simple to sew together and very quick! Our pattern is at the printers and will be available next week, in a set that includes an acrylic template to make cutting this shape super simple. We also have complete kits, with all of the exact colors that we used, and the same stripey binding and polka dot backing, which I think really MAKE the quilt! I also loved that machine quilting this on my own Pfaff was totally do-able and I didn’t even have to mark it, I just followed the seams with a light pink Aurifil Thread. Follow the links below if you would like to order a pattern set or Kit (kits come with the pattern set, all fabrics for the top, pre cut bias binding and the backing!)
I have been having a lot of fun making these blocks lately! I really wanted something scrappy and happy to use up some of my favorite fabrics in my stash, and these fit the bill for that perfectly. I played around with a few other blocks and landed on this one, I am calling Blooming Star. I have finished about 12 of them, and want to make 24 in all for a quilt, that I have not finished designing yet. I decided to do a tutorial that I am sharing with all of you and hopefully you will want to stitch some along with me. They are a lot easier than they look, so get some fabric together and get sewing! The tutorial is in a PDF that you can download on the link below:
When I finish the entire quilt, I will make sure to share it here. Please share your pictures if you make any! On Instagram please tag @pipersgirls and use hashtags #pipersgirls #bloomingstar, or post to our page on Facebook.

This is a Sneak Peek Introduction to our very first Piper’s Girls Row by Row quilt. We have been working on this quilt and all of it’s designs for a while so it is really exciting to finally share it with you. We designed this quilt to be a work in progress, hopefully you can keep up with us and make a row every month. At the end of the year you will have a stunning quilt that you will cherish forever and will be on another level of quilting expertise. Each row is designed to teach you a new quilting skill, so row by row you will become a better quilter. This quilt will be fit a Twin Size bed when completed.
So what do you think? Would you like to quilt along with us Row by Row?
This is our version of the “Remember who loves you” pattern from Acorn Quilts. I made this quilt years ago, but we cant seem to ever retire it because it continues to be so popular in our shop. Out of our Top 10 best selling patterns, it is the only one on the list that is not one of our Piper’s original designs. It continues to be one of my very favorite little quilts, I love the simplicity and sentiment of the little embroidery detail. I would love to make a larger size one, I think it would be perfect for a little girls twin size bed as well. What do you think? Do you ever get tired of owls? So far I am still owl obsessed.

This is Sleepytime! I think it is my very favorite baby quilt, EVER! And that is saying a lot! This quilt combines simple patchwork with adorable little sleepy animals that are appliqued into their beds. The border is a beautiful scallop that is also the binding as it comes around from the back. We used a beautiful Irish Linen that is included in our kits. Jeanette also hand quilted this little lovely to make it extra special. You can purchase just the pattern or a kit through the links below. So, what do you think?
