Another darling Piper’s original pattern is here! These are our Bombardier Hats! They are so warm, yet so fashionable, and you can knit them up in a flash. We made them using Boboli Quick, which is a super chunky variegated yarn. Make one for yourself and one for your little one to match! You can purchase the pattern as an instant PDF pattern for instant Download by clicking here. We also have filmed two short videos that will help you to knit these hats. These are really as easy as a basic beanie, the only thing different is the added earflaps, so our videos will show you how! So simple!
I came across this scarf as I was switching out my summer wardrobe for my winter one. I made this scarf a couple of years ago, and had totally forgotten about it. I totally fell in love with it all over again! I remember that this was really easy, but it looks very complicated. We still sell the yarn and I still had the pattern, so I am going to share it with you! Anything very chunky will work, preferably you will want something with a gauge of 2-3 stitches per inch on #11 or #15 needles. This scarf took (2) 100 gram hanks, but you could use more or less depending on the length that you would like. You will love this scarf! Yay! The Pixie hat patterns and yarn to make them is now here at the shop! These hats are so adorable and it is just in time, as the weather seems to be getting a little chilly. The pattern is written for sizes 3 months up to 36 months. This is Piper who is 4 years old wearing the 36 month size, but she is teeny tiny for her age. My little guy has one, and he wore it out last night for the first time. People were stopping us everywhere to comment on how cute it is! This is a hat you will knit again and again because everyone will want one for their little one!
If you are a beginner and this hat makes you nervous, have no fear we are here to help! This hat is much easier than you think! Plus we have made a series of how to videos to help you with several of the techniques you will be using to make these hats, such as Make 1(M1 increase), a double needle bind off (a beautiful seam), and how to make Pom-Poms. All of the videos are on our You Tube Channel, which we just created. We think these videos are wonderful when you get stuck or just need a little help learning something new. We are working hard to make videos on all of our projects in the shop, we hope that you enjoy them!
Here is the video on the make 1 Increase, we use this increase in the Pixie hat pattern, but it is also in many of your knitting patterns. It is a beautiful increase and often is just listed as an M1.
This is a free pattern from the Purl Bee, that we changed just a bit. We love the modern look! Follow the last link for the pattern, and make the following changes if you would like it to look like ours. We used a wonderful chunky cotton that is super washable, in 8 fabulous shades. We offer a yarn kit with our exact colors that is slightly discounted less than if you purchased all of the skeins separately. You will also need 24″ U.S. #10 Circular Knitting Needles, we like the Addi Turbo Lace. Our blanket is 36″ X 40″ when completed. You will need to cast on 142 stitches in order to get our size. This is so fun to work on! It knits very quickly and is super simple! Movie knitting at it’s best!
Isn’t this one of the most adorable things you have ever seen!? This is Piper in her new pink coat! It made it’s debut at a Luncheon at the Grand America. The coat and hat are one of our latest knitting patterns, so you can make one for your fabulous little lady. The pattern is called The Little Girls Luncheon Set and can be made for sizes 6 months up to 4 years. The hat pattern is included as well as a separate pattern to make a shorter jacket style if you prefer. The knitting is very easy, even a beginner can do this! We have used one of our favorite yarns,Amelie. It is super silky soft, and will wash and wash and has a wonderful fluffy look. I am so in love with this set!
