Sneak Peak! Advent Calendar
This is a sneak peak at a new Christmas Advent calendar that will be in ths shop soon. We have been doing more and more of our own designs lately. This advent is a Piper’s original and will be in a kit and a pattern. It is made with all real wool felt. For some reason it is a little harder to judge our own work, we are always unsure if people will like it or not. So, what do you think? Maybe we have just been staring at it too long. Wool Clean Up
In our constant attempt to stay very organized at the shop, we did a massive wool clean up last week. We have been holding on to way too many fabulous pieces of wools. So we have put up a bunch of wool scrap bags that are now out for sale. They are the 100% Hand Dyed Felted Wools, and some of the scraps are quite large. The bags are stuffed and priced to move at $4.99 a bag. So come and get em! And if you didn’t already know, Piper’s carries a large selection on Hand Dyed Wools as well as tons of fabulous colors of the blended Wool Felt on the bolt at all times.
Quick to make Gift #2: Fabulous Felt Stocking
Back by popular demand from last year are our fabulous felt stockings! Make some holiday decor for your friends and loved ones with our kits. Or better yet, have a stocking get together and everyone can make their own while you get to enjoy each anothers company. Our kits have been made almost too easy for you! Everything is pre-cut, the stocking, all of the flowers and shapes, plus the shapes have Heat n Bond already adhered! So you can just stitch a little, press a little and voila! You have an adorable new stocking!!! The wool felt is super high quality(70% real wool& 30% rayon), not the thin junky stuff. The floral stocking featured above is the #1 seller, but I think they are all fab.
A little behind
I am falling a little behind this week on everything! We are cutting kits like crazy for a bunch of new shop displays. Today I am cutting wool Christmas stocking kits. It feels a little weird to be doing this in 90 degree weather. They will be in the shop in about a week and they are so very cool because they are entirely pre-cut for you! The stocking, the holly berries, and all. Plus the applique is all ready to go, with Heat N Bond Lite pre-applied to the shapes. There will be about four stockings in kits like this. So I guess it is worth falling behind!
Easter Preview
We are busy working on a batch of new displays for the shop for spring. I thought I would give you a preview and a chance to pre-order a kit for this darling Eggs on Parade wall hanging. The colors are so lovely you just want to eat it! Jeanette made this display with all hand dyed wools and a bit of embroidery and beads to embellish it(The kit includes all of the hand dyed wools, pattern & beads). I shot a few close ups so you can see the detail. Maybe all of these spring projects will bring some spring like weather! You may also order a pattern only from us.
