Machine or Hand? Can you tell?

We have a few spots left in our class tonight: Invisible Machine Applique. Call the shop for more info: 801-484-5890, it starts at 5:30 and is a 2 session class. Whether you can make it tonight or not, You’ll want to get in on this class sooner or later! It is my very favorite technique! You can make all of the fabulous applique quilts you dream about at a decent pace. Plus you can hardly tell that you didn’t spend a million hours doing the hand work(Jeanette is going to kill me for putting that part, because as you know she loves Hand Applique above all!). I love to Hand Applique but there are only so many hours in the day, and if you know both techniques the world of quilting is a better place! These are two of the blocks from the Apron Club Quilt, both were made using our Machine Applique technique. Can you tell?

New Bee In My Bonnett

Shown above are some of the latest patterns from Lori Holt’s “Bee In My Bonnett” designs. The scarecrow is just darling for fall and the Count Your Blessing wall hanging includes Lori’s directions for her applique method in the pattern. You can order the Scarecrow pattern from us here.

I thought that I had put up a picture of our version of “Apron Club” a while ago. I sent a few poor customers on a blog goose chase and have now realized that I never did. So for them here is a picture of our shop sample that Jeanette made. You may also order this pattern from us here.

If you are a local, come and check out the Sugarhouse Art Stroll this Friday! It is a new event and we are participating and are super excited. For more information visit Brolly Arts.
