Oh my! Isn’t Piper adorable in our new Rosie’s Bow Headband pattern! These are so easy and quick to knit, there is still time to do them for Christmas! We like the Zara Plus yarn, but any chunky weight you prefer will work. The pattern comes with both the adult and the little girls version, you need 2 balls for the adult and only one for the girls. If I can squeeze in the time, I am going to whip out a few of these this weekend!!! What do you think!?
Another darling Piper’s original pattern is here! These are our Bombardier Hats! They are so warm, yet so fashionable, and you can knit them up in a flash. We made them using Boboli Quick, which is a super chunky variegated yarn. Make one for yourself and one for your little one to match! You can purchase the pattern in our shop or on our website here. We also have filmed two short videos that will help you to knit these hats. These are really as easy as a basic beanie, the only thing different is the added earflaps, so our videos will show you how! So simple!
We just received more of the Karin’s Laundry Room Pattern in the shop! This is the clothespin holder that is in the pattern along with an ironing board cover. It is adorable, yes, but how many of us actually need a clothespin holder? Well some of you may, but for those of you that don’t, I have re-purposed my bag. I am using it to hold all of the plastic grocery bags that I save and re-use. It works just perfectly, plus looks darling in my kitchen! You know you want to make one now!
Yay! The Pixie hat patterns and yarn to make them is now here at the shop! These hats are so adorable and it is just in time, as the weather seems to be getting a little chilly. The pattern is written for sizes 3 months up to 36 months. This is Piper who is 4 years old wearing the 36 month size, but she is teeny tiny for her age. My little guy has one, and he wore it out last night for the first time. People were stopping us everywhere to comment on how cute it is! This is a hat you will knit again and again because everyone will want one for their little one!
If you are a beginner and this hat makes you nervous, have no fear we are here to help! This hat is much easier than you think! Plus we have made a series of how to videos to help you with several of the techniques you will be using to make these hats, such as Make 1(M1 increase), a double needle bind off (a beautiful seam), and how to make Pom-Poms. All of the videos are on our You Tube Channel, which we just created. We think these videos are wonderful when you get stuck or just need a little help learning something new. We are working hard to make videos on all of our projects in the shop, we hope that you enjoy them!
Here is the video on the make 1 Increase, we use this increase in the Pixie hat pattern, but it is also in many of your knitting patterns. It is a beautiful increase and often is just listed as an M1.
This is our boss lady Piper modeling her Diva Skirt. It is in the gray Ghastlies fabric, isn’t it fab!? We have all of the supplies for you to make one for your little diva here at the shop! We had sold out of most of our Ghastlie prints, but just received more! I am so in love with this and also with my little Piper!

One of our local friends, Ida, brought us this fabulous new design! It is the most adorable little girls dolly purse! As usual her pattern is just beautiful, there are tons of photos and it is so easy to follow her directions. The dolls arms clasp to make a strap so it can be worn around the town. There are several variations, so you can customize your bag to your little one’s liking.
