Wasatch Front Shop Hop This Week!

Starting tomorrow (Wednesday the 12th) through Saturday is the 2013 Wasatch Front Shop Hop! Click the link to see a list of participating shops . Piper’s will be open 10-8pm Wednesday through Friday and 10-6pm on Saturday. The wonderful quilt shown above is a new Piper’s design called “CHEESE”. Everyone who comes to our shop during the shop hop will receive a FREE full size pattern of CHEESE! This pattern will sell for $9.95 after Shop Hop, so it is a great deal! We are also offering our fabric kits for CHEESE at a special Shop Hop price of $39.95 ( after Shop Hop $45.00). There will be lots of other sales and specials and a lot of fun! Please come and see us!

This is a picture of our Peacock Scarf. It is the most downloaded free pattern that we offer on our blog! I was blown away when I saw how many times, it is in the 100′s of thousands ! Many of you have made your own version, but here is a chance to own the original! We are doing some major clean up around the shop and studios and have a lot of beautiful samples that must be sold to make room for all of the new! Wasatch Front Shop Hop School house Series!

This week Piper’s will be participating in the Wasatch Front Shop Hops, first annual school house series! Come by this Thursday September 27th through Saturday the 29th! You will receive a free pattern and some of our coveted Hollyhock seeds just for stopping by!

Come at 3:00 pm  each day for a different free demo!

Thursday we will be showing you how to make a yarn wrapped wreath, perfect for fall, just like the one above! You will be able to go home and whip one up to hang on your door tomorrow!
Friday we will be showing you how to make an array of fabulous felt flowers! Easy and great to decorate your wreath and a million other things!

Saturday we will be demonstrating simple bias-tape binding! Come and see Jeanette’s fool proof techniques that will make everyone jealous of your handy work. We will be showing you on our adorable Aiden & Ava baby bibs!

Sneek Peek : Piper’s Pixie Hat & Fall Class Schedule

Online Summer Sale: Kids Alphabet Aprons & Such

Aren’t these little aprons adorable? They are for little ones age 2-ish to 6-ish. They are great for cooking in the kitchen with mommy, or as an art/project smock. They are made from an adorable Alphabet Laminate fabric! We made an easy to assemble kit, with pre-cut bias tape! You can whip this up in no time!

Sneek Peek: Millie’s Dresses

This is a little peek at our version of Millie’s Dresses. It is now off to the quilter! It has some embellishments that will be added to the dresses after it is quilted, than it should be hanging in the shop. We are making kits currently, and thinking about doing a class, what do you think?

Summer Class Schedule & Shop Hop

My girlfriend told me tonight that we all need to make a summer “Bucket” list but it is called a “Sand Pail” list. I love this! When you make yours, make sure to add some classes at Piper’s to it! Also this week is the 2012 Wasatch Front Shop Hop! Many fabulous quilt shops, joining together for one great event. It runs from Wednesday through Saturday, there are a lot of fantastic drawings and a lot of fun to be had. Come by our shop to get started!

They are in kits, with lots of darling fabrics to choose from as well as several variations in the pattern.There are options for both boys and girls and they are also reversible!! Summer Sewing for Kids!

This summer the Children Can Sew School will be offering children’s sewing classes in our classroom! This is a great way to keep your kiddos busy and creative! The classes are for ages 6 & up, and are every Tuesday with a few different time options. Check out their blog for more info: Children Can Sew or call Emily at 801-360-4450. These adorable strawberries are one of many fabulous projects that your child could make. We are so excited to be working with them!
