Maureen who used to work at our shop, made this fabulous Little Monster’s quilt from our kit for her little guy. Isn’t it fantastic!!? He is pretty cute, too! We are going to retire this quilt soon, so if you want a kit you better get one quick. There are only 5 left! Little Monsters Quilt Kit
We have a class on Thursday with a little bit of room on how to do the Machine Applique for this quilt. Call the shop for more details or to register!
This is Cecilia and Emma! Cecilia made this darling version of the Betsy’s Closet quilt! Isn’t it wonderful!! This is her first applique quilt that she made after taking our Machine Applique class! This quilt was made with love for little Emma. We love Cecilia and we our so proud of the work she did on this quilt!
Growing up in Utah, we are all skiers around here. A few years ago we came up with a pattern called These Boots were made for skiing, because we couldn’t find any skiing themed patterns, and we wanted to make a quilt. The pattern has sold and sold, year after year. Holly Cullen & Joyce Kirsch sent me this photo yesterday of their version on our quilt. They made a few changes and made a KING size! It blew my socks off! Bravo ladies!! It is wonderful!
It is so wonderful to see our designs mixed with others creativity and talent! If you have made something fabulous with one of our patterns, please share it with us. It really makes our day.
Britt is a darling customer at the shop, and this is her quilt. The design is from the Animal Alphabetpattern. She made it for her first baby who was born this summer. Isn’t it wonderful?! She did a fantastic job! Britt had never done any applique before taking our Invisible Machine Applique Class. If you love applique, but are scared of it, don’t be! You too can do quilts as fabulous as this!!!
Has anyone noticed how fantastic the pregnant Ghastlie Mama is!? I am a little obsessed with her!! We have a ton of the new Ghastlies line back in stock right now! The fabric is so great as is, I don’t want to cut it up!
The hollyhocks are starting to bloom! That means that summer and Shop Hop are almost here! This year the Wasatch Front Shop Hop will be June 13th through the 16th! We would love to see you, it is a ton of fun!

I found this picture on Pinterest today, and it made me so happy I thought I would share. It was from a blog full of pretty images called Alice is Wonderful. The colors are so inspiring!
This quilt makes me smile! It makes me happy for several reasons. First of all the colors are just bright and cheery. But most importantly it was made by Tara Parker in our Beginning Quilting class. Tara had never made a quilt before, this was her first patchwork attempt. Didn’t it turn out to be fabulous!? Please send us pics of any quilts you have made in our classes or bring them in the shop to share when you are finished. It really brightens our day!
This is my new favorite song, I could listen to it all day long.
On my way to work this morning there was the most adorable little family who popped out in front of my car. They continued to walk down the middle of the street for more than a block. It appeared to be a mom, dad and 4 little new chicks. They made my whole day!
