I can’t keep stop petting this new Minky. The ladybugs are too adorable. Plus, call me crazy, but I swear that this Minky is softer than any of the others!

Favorite Fabric Friday
Published November 6, 2009 Favorite Fabrics Leave a CommentTags: Japanese Fabric, Lecien, linen, utah fabric shops
Yay! Our Lecien Japanese fabrics came in! There are so many amazing fabrics it was hard to choose what to put on the blog today. I am sure there will be much more to come, but I am especially fond of these Linen & Cotton blends. The prints are teeny tiny and have monkeys and fruit, I just want to pinch the fabric. It has been a bit like Christmas around here, so much fabric is pouring in, we are running out of places to put it!
Favorite Fabric Friday & Henrietta Winner

The fabric above is an amazing piece that I have been hanging on to for years, waiting for just the right quilt to come along. So far I am still saving it, any ideas? I just adore it! It is from a company called American Folk & Fabric. They specialize in reprinting vintage fabrics from the early 19th & 20th century. Their fabric is 60″ wide and a little more expensive, so we only get a few of their fabrics at the shop. But they are always show stoppers!
Sorry I have no -giveaway this week, but check back next week because I am going to have a good one! The winner from the last giveaway for Henrietta is Claudine! Yay!

If you are Helz, please e-mail me at pipersquilts@yahoo.com so that I can get your address on where to send your fab fabric.
The fabric above is my favorite for this week. It is the Scroll Print from the French Riviera collection, aslo from Art Gallery. I am quite taken with the color Teal lately, and I especially love it with chocolate brown.

In real life owls really freak me out. For some reason they remind me of scary movies and I really rather not see one in my backyard or any where else for that matter. But you put them on fabric and I am in love. This fabric is from Timeless Treasures and I can’t wait to get my hands on it. I just cut myself a piece that is heading home with me this weekend, to stare at me on my work table until the perfect project jumps out at me.

Seriously, without a doubt, Art Gallery is my new favorite fabric company. I know I have said it a million times before, but the fabrics are just amazing. These are my two favorite( and believe me it was hard to narrow it down to two) prints from the latest collection ” Spellbound”. I love lime green and this collection is full of it. I have a free pattern from Art Gallery made with this collection to give away to anyone who comes in and asks, just say you saw it on the blog
