Sneak Peak: Daisy Baby

This is what is on my studio floor right now. I am still having a love affair with all things gray, so I decided to use it in a baby girls quilt. It worked out perfect to use Lori’s Daisy Cottage fabrics.  I am almost finished and just love it! What do you think? I wanted to design something pretty, simple and fast, I think it is all of those. I am hoping to have it up in the shop by the end of next week, as well as have lots of kits finished.

My studio is a wreck, so this is all you can see until I organize. I was getting really depressed due to the lack of creative time I have been getting recently. I have had a real struggle balancing a new baby, a business and all of those constant little life commitments that we all  over schedule for ourselves. Creative time was going by the wayside, and I was getting a little crazy and not so fun to be around. Now I have realized this time is a necessity not a treat. I decided to set a goal to sew or knit an hour a day. I will admit it is not happening every day, but it is happening. I cannot believe how much I am getting done and how much better I feel. Hence my sewing room looks like a tornado hit it, but that is a good thing.

Free Pattern: Game Day Hat

Happy Valentines Day!!

To show our love to you, we are giving you this simple Game Day knitted hat pattern.

This pattern can be made for a child or an adult. We have provided a “U” pattern to be done in duplicate stitch at the end. You can easily change the letter and hat color to support your favorite team, just please don’t use any blue yarn or the letter “Y”.

Just joking, kind of.

If you would like to use the same yarn as we did, we have it at the shop, of course!

Follow the link below for the pattern, if your local and need help, we always have free knitting on Tuesday nights from 5:30-7:30!
