We made this scarf last year gave away the pattern for free. It has been so popular we decided to update it for this year in some fabulous Mohair!
The pattern can be found here: Romantic Ruffle scarf . We knit ours from Soft Kid, but Kidsilk Aura also works wonderfully. You also have to change your needle from a 5 or 6 to a 2 or 3, we like the addi lace needles the best!
This works up really fast and you will look fabulous in it, it is also great for Christmas gifts!

I can’ seem to find the pattern for the Updated version. Can you help?

I can’t see the updated pattern for the mohair version either. Both patterns are the same. I’m sure the # of cast on stitches would be different when using the smaller needles. This looks fabulous and I’m going to get the yarn tomorrow!

Hmmm, upon examining the pictures closely, it looks like the version knit in mohair is smaller around the neck and hangs shorter…so it could be that the instructions for both are identical except for the yarn and needle size,. Am I correct in that?
You can find here

I still can’t find the pattern for the updated Romatic Ruffled Scarf, only the original one.
I love this scarf!!! Anyway to convert to a machine knit pattern?
Thanks!
I am new to knitting. After casting on the first 80 stitches (double strand cable cast) I started the first row knitting each individual stitch. So… after the first row I had 160 sts. I did not realize my mistake until row 4. I pulled everything out and will start all over again.
Love this pattern. Thank you.
Iam a newbie and am not sure about the needle size instruction (32″-40″).
What is that referring to? And are the needles straight or circular? I am completely self-taught by DVD’s and YouTube Knitters. There is not knitting shops or instructors in my area so I am completely dependent upon knittler like yourself and I thank you for sharing your expertise.
I love the look of this pattern but I’m not sure about needles. Thanks for your assistance.
The 32″ -40″ are the length suggested for the circular needles, it is much better to knit this on cicular needles becasue of the length you are dealing at at certain points.
Thanks
This is the most beautiful scarf pattern I have seen. I will be making this soon. Thank you so much.
