Just In, the latest pattern from Meags and Me. Jack & Jill is a fabulous combination of applique, piecing and embroidery. I just love it!
I order and eat out a lot. So as a goal this year, I am trying to cook and bake more at home. It is something I am not very good at, but I figure the more I try the better I will get. My friend gave me this recipe for Pumpkin bread and today seemed like the perfect day to make it. The recipe makes two loaves, but right after taking them from the oven, I dropped the other one on the floor, this is why I order out a lot. Anyhow, the surviving loaf was really good for breakfast. Here is the recipe for you, if you would like to try it out. I will try to share some of the recipes I am trying as I go. Wish me luck.

Just in time for the change to chilly weather! These little hats are easy to sew and perfect with the Cow print Minky that we have at the shop. The pattern is sized from newborn up to 3 years old and comes with a matching scarf. This is little Tildy looking fantastic in her blue version. This time of year, you could easily convert this darling hat into a Halloween costume!
Happy Birthday to You! I cannot believe that our little Piper is 2! She is already so smart, sassy and beautiful, it is exciting to watch her grow older. For those of you who don’t know, Piper is my only niece, Jeanette’s only grand daughter and our little muse at the shop. So, she is kind of a big deal, and we like to brag about her a lot, and you will be seeing lots more of her. This fabulous photo was taken during a photo shoot with Jen Hebert.
This is the latest pattern from Lori Holt. It is called Paper Dolls, and let’s just say it does not disappoint! The detail on her patterns is really mind boggling, and well worth the extra applique effort. If you want to make a quilt that will be noticed and admired, make one of Bee In My Bonnets designs!
