I told you Jeanette’s sneak peak would be way better! This is the girl’s version called Betsy’s Closet.
Below is the boys version, Benji’s Pockets. They will both be up in the shop soon! She used her machine applique method that we teach at the shop for both quilts.
We are on a display marathon right now. Both Jeanette and I are trying to get a ton of wonderful new projects done just in time for the Shop Hop in June. I feel like I have been sewing none stop this entire weekend. One of the projects I am currently stitching is Remember Whooo Loves You, from Acorn Quilts. I have been slightly obsessed with this ever since it showed up at the shop. I am diggin into some old scraps and really liking the result. I would rather mix and match then use an entire fabric collection. I found the stripe shown above and really liked the colors together, so I tried to pick fabrics that mimicked it. What do you think? Well back to the machine. Busy, Busy!! Just wait until the sneak peak tommorow of Jeanette’s quilt!
I usually tend to gravitate towards bright and bold fabrics. But, I am completely in love with this soft pink print from Lecien. It has the most beautiful little cursive Alphabet letters all over. It would be wonderful for a little girls dress!
I am often asked in the shop if I am Piper’s mom. No, I am not, I just pretend to be on a routine basis, she is my niece. This is Piper’s Mom, Shannon. This was taken at our friend Sascha’s wedding about a month ago. It is easy to see where she gets her great beauty.
There is not one item in this book that I am not frantic to make! You will love this book if you like to make gifts that are useful and absolutely adorable, and easy enough that you will get them done in time. I am starting an assembly line and making ten of the square bears shown below so that I will have them on hand for gifts, they just fantastic! I love Sew Darn Cute !

I am so excited to get this fabric at the shop! I am a little bit of a stalker when it comes to Jenn Ski. I read her blog and wish that I had her home, her furniture, her drawing style, and more. I have purchased many of her prints and have always wanted to make a quilt with her designs. Finally!! Her first collection is Alphabet Animals and is just perfect for any little one!
P.S. I double checked and we are the only shop in Utah carrying this line!

Jeanette just whipped up this adorable skirt from the Nie Nie pattern from Pink Fig. She made a fabulous tank top to go along with the ruffles theme. Perfect for springtime twirling!
