These tiny shoes are bar none the most adorable things I have ever seen! We liked them so much, we decided to carry them at the shop. We also loved the fact that they are made by two stay at home moms, right here in Salt Lake! The tiny peep toe mules come in zebra and of course leopard and are available in sizes from newborn to 24 months. Come in and get some at the shop or give us a ring on our toll free number (877-484-5890) and we would be happy to ship you a pair. A must have tiny treasure for fall!

Fridays Favorite Fabric & Giveaway
This Girly Girl fabric is so wonderful it needed a larger pic on the blog. I took a yard of it home and I am contemplating what to do next. This fabric makes me very happy! I would love to give away a yard of this fabric, and make someone else happy too. So comment on this post and I will choose a random winner, check back next Friday to see who it is.
Have a wonderful weekend! It is supposed to be 82 degrees here on Saturday, clear and sunny. You can’t get much better than that!
Girly Girl
I am practically drooling on this fabric as I cut it into fat quarters. It is the latest from Art Gallery and is appropriately named “Girly Girl”. I think it is perfect for any young lady who loves pink!
Quilts At The Fair
I went to the fair yesterday, and am feeling the pain today from eating too much fried foods. I just couldn’t help myself, fried pickes, fried oreos and even a fried snickers. It hurts to even type it now, but it was oh so yummy yesterday. There were a ton of wonderful quilts on display, and I took a few pictures of my favorites to share with you. Above is a fabulous version of A Quilters World. It is one of our top selling patterns, I am sure you can see why. I really loved the use of colors in this one.
This quilt was folded up so that you could not see it very well, but it is just wonderful! I think it may be a Piece O Cake pattern, but I am not sure.
This was my other favorite. There is just something so wonderful about black quilts.
Although I did not get any good pictures of them, I was very impressed with how many fabulous quilts were on display from kids under the age of 12. There were even a few of them who had hand quilted their entry. Very impressive!
I am lucky because…I am an Aunt again!
Easy Kid Knits
I am not sure why, but for some reason it is a bit tricky to find good knitting patterns for kids. There are a million for babies and toddlers and adults, not so many for 3-10 year olds.Easy Kids Knits just arrived at the shop and has fabulous patterns for young ones. Most of the patterns are unisex styles and all of them are very simple designs.
This is my favorite pattern in the book (I wish it came in my size), but really every one is worth making. There are 10 different sweaters and a bunch of darling accessories. This book is definitelty a keeper !
Sunday Night Shopping
I had to have these Leopard sneakers from Boden , I have thought about them all week.
There is nothing better than a Sunday night of shopping followed by a little Mad Men accompanied by a slice of lemon torte . Life is good.
Fridays Favorite Fabric
In real life owls really freak me out. For some reason they remind me of scary movies and I really rather not see one in my backyard or any where else for that matter. But you put them on fabric and I am in love. This fabric is from Timeless Treasures and I can’t wait to get my hands on it. I just cut myself a piece that is heading home with me this weekend, to stare at me on my work table until the perfect project jumps out at me.
Fab Fall Accessory #2
I am nuts for this hat! I can’t wait for it to get a little cooler so that I can wear mine. This is a Piper’s original pattern. After seeing Natalie Morales wearing a similar style during President Obama’s Inauguration, I had to have one. Jeanette came up with a hat that was even better. This hat is easy to make and so chic! I begged our lovely neighbor Pam at Trifecta to be the model. Doesn’t she look fabulous?
