I am lucky because… I get to ride my bike to work.
I am very lucky because I get to ride my bike to work everyday. Well maybe not everyday, but most days of the week. It is amazing how much a short bike ride clears your head and gets you ready for a day, as well as relaxes you on your way home. Plus I have the most amazing bike on the planet earth. If there was a fire, I would grab my dogs and my bike, and life would be okay. If everyone could ride their bike a little more often, I think the world would be abetter place.
New French Flannels
Oooops, here is the pattern!
Ooooops, we told a bunch of you that this pattern was already free for you to print on our blog. We were mistaken and I am sorry I sent so many of you on a wild goose chase. So alas, here it really is for you to get going. Last night I was up late watching Legally Blonde( I have watched it too many times to count and am never sick of it) and noticed that Elle wears a hat similar to this one. It was so cute on her, I think I may have to make one for myself. We sell the silk flowers here at the shop and a ton of colors in the yarn that we used.
More sweet Life
Sweet Life is a line of handbags, knitting bags and organizers put out by Amy Butler with her original fabrics(the fabrics used in the bags are not available in fabric collections). We are carrying the full line of them at the shop and just received the latest batch. I MUST HAVE all of these bags, they are so adorable. Plus each one has massive amounts of seperated pockets inside so that you can keep all of your crazy purse clutter super organized. LOVE THEM!!!

Spellbound!
Seriously, without a doubt, Art Gallery is my new favorite fabric company. I know I have said it a million times before, but the fabrics are just amazing. These are my two favorite( and believe me it was hard to narrow it down to two) prints from the latest collection ” Spellbound”. I love lime green and this collection is full of it. I have a free pattern from Art Gallery made with this collection to give away to anyone who comes in and asks, just say you saw it on the blog

Leaving the Nest
After a brief stay on our porch, our pair of baby hummingbirds have left the nest. They were amazing to watch while here and we are apparently very lucky to have had them. It is very rare for a hummingbird nest to be seen. They take great care in building them out of sight. These two little ones will now fly all the way to Mexico! Amazing.
