I have just started playing around on Flickr . It is too much fun!!! I cannot believe all of the beautiful ideas and images out there. I started a group for anyone who has made our Abbies Cap to post pictures of. Also, anyone out there already on Flickr, please find me and make me a contact so I can see all of your wonderful projects(pipersquilts)!
Also I have been asked by many people how they can purchase this pattern, very soon our new website will be up and running, but until then you can order one here.
Twins!
Can you stand it!? So cute!!! We have the Chamonix Crochet Hat pattern ready to roll, if you would like us to mail you one you can order one here.
I don’t know how the weather is treating you in your neck of the woods, but we have a full blown blizzard!! It is supposed to last all weekend and tomorrow there will be a high of 18 degrees!!! So it looks like I might just be getting some knitting finished!!!
New Class Schedule Winter 2009
We have mailed our new Winter 2009 Class schedule out and if you our on our mailing list you should receive it right away. I have added the links below if you would like to access it online. There are a few key notes you should take note of:
Moonlight Madness Sale!
We are having our annual Moonlight Madness sale this Thursday (Open Late until 10PM), and we have extended it through Friday & Saturday as well. Most everything in the shop will be at least 20% off and there will be a ton of clearance items. As well as lots of store display quilts and furniture and baskets for sale. It has been our New Years resolution for a while to do some major cleaning and refreshing of the shop, and this year we are getting it done!!!
Holiday Break:
To help us with our New Years Resolution we are taking a holiday break! Pipers will be closed from December 21st through New Years Day. We will re-open Friday January 2nd and have our Winter Open House that weekend. We are going to do some remodeling & painting at the shop, but don’t hesitate to call and make an appointment if there is something you need during that time!
New Hours!
We will also have new hours starting in January.
Tuesday through Saturday 11-7, we will be closed on Sundays & Mondays.
Check out the new schedule & have a great day!!!
Quick Gifts

We are finally just wrapping up two brand new patterns that make great quick to make christmas presents. One is knit & One is crochet! So there is something for everyone. The hat above is called the Chamonix hat and can be made for all sizes, from babies to adults. The girls version has an adorable flower on top and the boys has a pom pom. Or just make it plain and it is still fab! For you knitters there is this new Lola Scarf shown below. You can make it in a day and everyone will love it! I have been wearing mine around and people stop me left and right to ask where it came from. Stop in after Monday to purchase patterns or e-mail me if you are far away.
Have a wonderful weekend ! Sorry for my lapse in posts, I will be much better next week, now that all of my nasty computer issues solved.

Its A Christmas Miracle

Just in time, when we had almost lost hope we received our Friends for Christmas books in the mail. We actually received them a couple of days ago, but I could not tell you yet because I got a Virus on my computer. It erased weeks and weeks worth of work. Shame on whatever nerd out there makes these horrible things!
Anyway we received a bunch of these books, but many were already pre-sold. Also I spoke to the distributor and we received the last batch! No More! The desginer has decided not to reprint. So I have a very limited number of these books for sale if you want one: Buy a Copy of Friends for Christmas .
This quilt has been one of the most popular quilts in our shop ever!!! The designer Lynette Anderson is from Australia and has a wonderful blog.
Can you believe it is December? The weather here has been amazing, almost like spring still. As I was leaving work last night I took this photo in front of the shop.

Isn’t It amazing!
I am going to finish my holiday decorating this weekend and get the shop into a little Christmas. Below is my tree that I love more than anything!~~

Free Pattern: Knitted Newborn Beanie
Here is a wondeful beginner friendly baby beanie pattern. It is a great present for a new baby, that you can whip up in no time at all. The chunky yarn helps you to look as if you are the gal who does it all! We used Anny Blatt Laika washable bulky yarn, but any chunky or super chunky will work. Of course Piper lover hers and wanted to be out blog model.
New Fabric
We received these great new fabrics from the Savon Bouquet collection today from Freespirit. I was super excited to receive a bunch of merchandise in the shop today, so I could take a break from the computer. I have been typing, typing and typing. We are working like crazy to wrap up a bunch of quick and easy holiday gift patterns that we have designed for the shop. They are all so fun, I cannot wait to share, but first I have to do some more typing on the computer. One of the new patterns is this adorable new crochet hat pattern modeled below by my favorite little man Yamato( who just turned One last week, Happy Birthday!).
More to come on these fun new designs shortly.
