Here is a free pattern for a super quick & easy baby quilt. I make this quilt all of the time in different fabric combinations for gifts. It works for both boys and girls ( and is great for those annoying friends who are keeping it a surprise). A star is so classic that everyone will just love it.

Lovely quilt!
I have a question. My daughter is expecting a little girl in January and I am throwing her a shower in late October. I want to make a baby quilt and just love your “Sweet and Simple Baby Quilt” …baby star quilt. I see the directions for piecing but wondered if you machine quilted or hand quuilted the quilt in the picture. Either way, I was wondering where you did the quilting. It looks like the triangles in teh star are quilted every 1/4 inch or so. Is this correct? Do you have any instructions for the quilting of this design? Thanks!
