After one of those days where nothing seems to go right, I needed some quilting therapy. I needed some sewing that required little thinking and just pure escape and relaxation. I needed to end the day with some success. I made the center for this new quilt called “Dream of a Garden” with all fabrics from Art Gallery. I have 2 more borders to add and then the top will be finished. Not bad for the end of a no good, horrible, very bad day. I just love it! I plan on whipping out the rest of this quilt by the weekend and cutting kits with the exact fabrics. One of the many reasons to love these fabulous fabrics is that the company produces a collection for one full year! I think that too many fabric companys move through collections too quickly. By the time you finish your quilt, you have to start a full on search of the universe to find a border from the same collection. For me, quilting is something to help you slow down in this crazy fast paced world. So I am very glad to see a fabric company that allows a little time for that. So if you need an easy quilting pick me up, watch for this kit , available very soon in the shop and for online ordering.

Oh that’s beautiful! But I need another quilting project like I need a hole in the head!
I have heard that there is a free pattern for “Dream of a Garden” out there, but I have not been able to find it. Do you know if its available anywhere? Thank you! P.S. I love your quilt!
Yes there is! That is what I have been using to make this quilt. I have to order more of them from Art Gallery, but then I would be happy to send anyone one who would like one. E-mail me.
I would like a copy of this pattern also if you have anymore. And I’m trying to find your material on this site. Haven’t found it as yet, but I’m liking what I’m seeing.
